Rushe Retriever Camp (RRC) is a shared dream brought to life by Anney Doucette and Jeff Rushe in beautiful Lecanto, Florida. Built on a passion for exceptional retrievers and the people who love them, RRC is a place where teamwork, training, and the joy of the journey come together.
Between us, we bring a wide range of competitive retriever experience, and we are passionate about helping dogs and handlers reach their goals — whether you are preparing for your first hunt test, advancing toward new titles, or simply building a stronger partnership with your retriever.

OUR FACILITIES
Located on the gulf shores of central Florida, RRC offers year-round dog training opportunities.
We have several fields and drill yards, and two ponds built specifically for training retrievers, a swim-by pond and a manicured, 1.5 acre technical pond.
Our kennel is indoors and fully climate controlled for the comfort of our boarding dogs year round. We are eager to share our training facilities with local clubs and individuals, please contact us for availability.

PERSONALIZED TRAINING
We are happy to schedule private lessons for retriever field training, and regularly hold camps and workshops for groups to learn to train their retrievers. Contact us to schedule a private lesson or book training time at our fields or ponds.
We welcome clubs looking for grounds to hold their small field events, please contact us for more information.
VACATION BOARDING
RRC is pleased to offer boarding services in our indoor, climate controlled kennel. Roomy runs, specialized flooring, spacious airing yard and daily group romps are sure to make your dog’s stay a fun one. We specialize in show/competition dogs and are happy to comply with special requests for diet and grooming needs. Contact us for pricing and booking.
